This is fine example of a 1985 Mercedes Benz 500 SEC. This model features many safety features including the use of high-strength low-alloy sheet metal, ABS, and seat belt pre-tensioners. Introduced in 1984 was the more powerful 5.0 litre engine.
Interior appointments included courtesy lights on the underside of the doors and optional fully automatic climate control system. Also included with the 500 SEC is a four speed automatic transmission featuring a topographical sensor that improves drivability by monitoring vehicle position and the position of the throttle pedal.
